Melanie is a junior and Online Editor of The Tower. She’s been on staff for three years and this is her second year on the editorial team, having previously worked in graphics. She finds comfort in writing and loves the process of journalism, whether it's meeting new people in the community or eating garlic knots during layout. She especially enjoys highlighting students, clubs, and events around campus. Alongside writing and journalism she loves dancing, art, listening to music (Laufey, Niki, Keshi, basically any kind of R&B), and dragging her sister to study with her at random cafés. If you see her around campus, feel free to say hi!
